House of Betula is a boutique interior design studio creating homes that feel timeless, layered and restorative. Homes with warmth in every corner, natural texture in every choice, and a quiet sense of story that belongs entirely to the people who live there.

Every project from a single room to a whole home is built on my belief that our homes should feel emotionally grounding, layered with meaning and supportive of the rhythm of everyday life, our sanctuary away from the pace of modern life. This is shaped by my years of industry experience and interior architectural knowledge, alongside a passion for slower, sustainable and more intentional design. 

Bespoke services include virtual e-design, full service interior design, colour consultancy and developer projects, each approached with the same considered care and attention to detail.

Based in North Somerset, just outside Bristol, with in-person services across the South West and virtual design throughout the UK.

House of Betula is founded by Gemma Pope, an award-winning Interior Designer with a BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture and over 14 years of experience in luxury residential design.

Before launching House of Betula, Gemma worked across high-end residential projects and luxury show homes at leading design studios in London and Bristol. The experience earned her two International Property Awards, for Best Apartment and Best Show Home, and gave her an instinctive understanding of what makes a space feel truly exceptional.

House of Betula was established from a belief that great design should do more than look beautiful. It should feel like you. Gemma works closely with every client to create homes that are calm, thoughtful and unique to them, spaces that support the rhythm of daily life and tell the story of the people who live there.
